BASSEM ALKHOURI
Bassem Alkhouri, born in Damascus, is an opera singer and a master of the Syrian zither, the Qanun. After studying singing in The Hague and Amsterdam, he performed at opera houses across Europe and in his homeland, Syria. Since the 2023/24 season, he has been a permanent ensemble member at Theater Vorpommern and is internationally renowned as a concert and Kanun soloist.
